Kanda no Nikubaru　RUMP CAP｜Kitanozaka Area, Sannomiya, Kobe

I visited RUMP CAP, located right at the entrance to Kitanozaka in Sannomiya, Kobe, just beside the subway entrance.

The restaurant has some eye-catching signs out front, so if you often pass through this area, you’ve probably noticed it before. As the name suggests, RUMP CAP is a meat-focused restaurant. I was in the mood for roast beef that day, so I decided to order their Roast Beef Bowl. For an extra ¥300 or so, you could double the amount of roast beef, so I went for that option. They also offer a free large serving of rice, which is a nice bonus.

Overall, the prices are quite reasonable, making it a great spot when you’re craving meat without spending too much.

When you order the Roast Beef Bowl, it comes with a side salad and soup, which are served first. The salad includes fresh lettuce and potato salad, topped with a flavorful onion dressing.

The soup is a simple egg soup—light, comforting, and just the right way to warm up your stomach before the main dish arrives.

メインのローストビーフは、最近では主流になってきつつある、ローストビーフの上に卵黄が乗っているスタイルです。そこに、大根おろしの入ったタレと、クリームソースを掛けた形です。カイワレが乗っているので色味も良く食欲をそそりますね。

お味の方はオーソドックスで普通に美味しかったです。肉増しにしていたので、途中少し飽きてくるので、テーブルに備え付けの黒胡椒をミルして振れるので、そうすると少しスパイスが効いて美味しいですよ。

カウンター席に通してもらったので、目の前で他の人が注文したステーキ等を焼いているのが見ながら待っていたのですが、やっぱりステーキ食べたいなと思ったので、またステーキを食べに行きたいと思います。
