Umanmaai Steak｜Osaka Ekimae Dai-3 Building

I visited the Osaka Ekimae Dai-3 Building branch of “Umanmaai Steak,” a restaurant known for serving casual steak at reasonable prices.

It’s a restaurant where you can enjoy steak, hamburg steak, and similar dishes, and they also offer lunch specials. This time, I ordered the Harami Steak Bowl (1,100 yen), and since you could add a hamburger steak for an extra 150 yen, I decided to include that as well.

You can choose the sauce from garlic, salt, or Japanese-style grated daikon, and this time I went with the Japanese-style option. Rice can also be upgraded to a large portion for free, so it’s a good choice when you’re really hungry. The restaurant itself is fairly spacious, and while there were quite a few customers, I was able to get in without waiting.

The bowl also comes with soup and a salad, so I enjoyed those while waiting for the harami steak bowl to arrive.

After about 10 minutes, the harami steak bowl was ready. As you can see from the photo, the hamburger steak topping was larger than I expected and almost comparable in size to the main harami steak.

It was delicious and very satisfying. The harami steak itself was quite tender, yet still had a nice meaty texture, making it very enjoyable. As advertised as aged beef, the umami had been well developed, resulting in a soft and flavorful steak.

There aren’t many places where you can enjoy a genuinely tasty steak at this price, so if you’re looking for a reasonably priced place to eat meat, it’s definitely worth checking out.
